Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend

Saturday, we rode up to Albert Pike and Little Missouri Falls. There were so many people there!! Little Missouri Falls was very pretty and there was lots of water!!

Daddy put Isaac's sunglasses on for our little trip! He was so cool in his little sunglasses!

This is a little baby owl we saw on the side of the road while we were on our way to Little Missouri Falls. I don't know if it had fallen out of a nest or what, but Heath got close to it and it never moved. It was so cute!

Memorial Day Weekend!

This weekend I was talking to Isaac, and he was smiling and laughing, but when I got the camera out, I couldn't get in a picture. When I put it up, he just laughed!! I told him he was acting like his daddy!! :)

Isaac has found his fist! Sometimes I think he is hungry, but he isn't...he just wants to suck on his fist!

2 month checkup

Isaac had his 2 month check-up today. His daddy took him because I had to work. The doctor said he looked great and was growing excellent! He weighs 13lbs. 11 oz. and is 22 1/2 inches long. Yes! He is a big boy! He got 4 shots today, and he has been fussy all day, but we gave him some tylenol and he feels better now. He is just growing too fast!

This morning at 7 before daddy and him left for the doctor in Hot Springs--we had him laughing while he was trying to eat and he still had some milk in his mouth (that you can see in the pic) It was so funny!

Ready to go to the doctor...little did he know he had to get 4 shots! :(

Daddy said he was happy before his shots AND Heath said he peed on the nurse while she was weighing him! She's going to have to be quicker next time!

I thought this picture was so sweet!

I had him sitting in the recliner, and he was just fasinated with the light that was next to the chair. He stared at it forever (well it wasn't that long, but he sure did like it)! I'm sure his eyes were fuzzy when he looked at something else from looking at that light!

Mommy goes back to work...

Well, I went back to work today. I was very sad about leaving Isaac and thought I'd be just miserable all day without him, but I made it better than I thought....still missed him like crazy, but I survived. At his age now, he doesn't even realize I am gone. I enjoyed being back at school and getting back into some kind of routine again. It was also nice to get to talk to adults...had to watch myself to make sure I didn't baby talk to them!! :) The kids were so excited to see me, and they all wanted to tell me everything that's happened since I've been gone....boy I was a little overwhelmed with stories. Those are my other babies! I missed them too!
I wish I could have those weeks back with Isaac after we got home from the hospital till now, but I know this time would just come around again, then I'd be wishing for those weeks back again. Those weeks just flew by, and he's grown so much! I am so excited to watch him grow more and more!

Biker Baby!

Heath, Isaac, and me actually went to the Dam twice yesterday....we had to go back! Anyway, there were even more people there the second time and more water coming over. This bike belongs to Shanna Coleman, and she let us put Isaac on there with Shrek! He's one cool baby...Mommy might be a little reluctant to him getting one of these when he's older though!! :)Sitting on one is just fine with me!

I couldn't believe how many people were up there. When Heath asked me if I wanted to go see it, I thought we'd just drive across the bridge, snap a picture or two, and be on our way. HOWEVER, I couldn't believe the cars and the people who were there. I guess I wasn't thinking that everyone else might want to see it too! So, we had to get out, and take pictures standing on the bridge...like everyone else was doing! I kind of felt like a tourist!! LOL!

Oh, Daddy! :)

Heath and I were wondering the other night how long Isaac might be now. So, Heath just pulled out his handy dandy tape measure!! It was so funny! I guess you'd call this the "Redneck Way to Measure a Baby!" Oh, Isaac didn't care though! According to Heath's measurements, Isaac is "about" 23 inches long!

Mother's Day at Grandma's

After we left my mom's, we went to Debbie's house to eat hamburgers and visit with all of the Mommies there. The food was good, and I enjoyed spending time with all the mothers in our family. Britney gave me some really pretty flowers for Mother's Day. She's so sweet! Here are the pictures from Grandma's.

Kasey playing in the swing. It was so cute and funny because the way she'd get in was she'd go to the back and climb in then turn around. Then, she just smiled and laughed! She sat there for a little bit with a book. She looked so comfy and she could have fooled you because she really looked like she was reading her book.

After church, we went to my mom's house to visit and spend time with my mom and sister. This year was mine and my sister's first Mother's Day we got to spend together. Mamaw's Mother's Day Dinner 5/9/09

We ate at Mamaw's house tonight to celebrate with Debbie and her brothers from Texas. I took LOTS of pictures tonight!! We ate hamburgers and hot dogs, then had cake and ice cream!

Uncle Shane enjoying Isaac after we all ate. We let Kasey "hold" Isaac but she was more interested in touching him all over, so I just kinda held him close to her. She loves him! I think she thinks she can play with him like she plays with her baby doll. It won't be much longer and he'll be able to play!!

I don't know how I got all these pictures so messed up on this page....they're everywhere!! We were going to go to Texarkana to eat but we didn't want to get Isaac in and out of the rain. My mom's side of the family got together at my aunt Paula's house to eat and play Bunco, so we just went to visit and eat with Mamaw and Papaw since everyone was in for Mother's Day.
